Twisted Minds PH (TWIS) delivered a statement performance in Week 6 of MPL PH Season 15, sweeping TNC Pro Team 2-0 in a crucial series that keeps their playoff hopes alive. With their backs against the wall, TWIS rose to the occasion, executing clean macro plays and outlasting the Phoenix Army in both matches.
Game 1
The opening game was a tense back-and-forth in the early stages, with both squads trading blows in a tug-of-war for map control. However, as the game progressed, TWIS found their rhythm. Outplayed’s Granger was the standout performer, finishing with a dominant 8-0 KDA by the 20-minute mark. Despite TNC’s efforts to keep the kill count close, TWIS managed to secure a drawn-out 3-minute Lord Dance at the 21-minute mark thanks to MP the King’s well-timed Joy. With the Lord in hand, TWIS didn’t hesitate to crash into TNC’s base and take the first game.
Game 2
The second match was more reserved, with both teams avoiding frequent skirmishes and instead focusing on objective control. It became a test of patience, but TWIS never let go of the pressure. TNC struggled to find solid footing and by the 20-minute mark, their base was wide open. A desperate final team fight resulted in the loss of four members, giving TWIS the green light to end the game and secure a clean 2-0 sweep.
This victory not only snaps Twisted Minds’ slump but also gives them a crucial lifeline in the race for the final playoff spot.
