With the final playoff slot on the line, Twisted Minds PH (TWIS) returned to the stage hungry for redemption after yesterday’s loss against Smart Omega. Facing AP Bren (APBR), who were also desperate to keep their playoff hopes alive, TWIS pulled off a vital 2-0 sweep to stay in the race for MPL PH Season 15.
Game 1
AP Bren had a strong early game, securing map control and pressing the pace. But Twisted Minds remained composed, choosing to play safely and wait for the perfect moment. That moment came during a 12-minute Lord Dance, where MP the King’s Leomord charged straight into APBR’s backline and decimated their formation. With a full wipeout, TWIS seized the opportunity and closed out Game 1 with authority.
Game 2
Game 2 turned into a back-and-forth chess match. kkD0t’s Jawhead made smart picks with well-timed Ejectors, catching TWIS off guard multiple times. Despite this, MP the King’s Ling took control of the map through relentless split pushing. In a pivotal moment, while APBR focused on winning a team fight in the Lord pit, MP the King went for a backdoor play and took down the exposed base—stealing the win and securing a clean sweep for Twisted Minds PH.
Twisted Minds stay alive in the playoff hunt, while AP Bren’s path just got tougher.
