In one of the most highly anticipated matches of MPL PH Season 15, Team Liquid PH (TLPH) took on the reigning M6 World Champions, ONIC PH. The clash carried extra weight, as longtime rivals Kiel “Oheb” Soriano and Duane “Kelra” Pillas faced off once again. Despite ONIC PH’s pedigree, it was TLPH who dominated, securing a commanding 2-0 sweep to continue their hot streak.
Game 1
TLPH set the tone early, with Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz delivering a textbook performance on Jawhead. His relentless Ejector plays kept ONIC PH under constant pressure, feeding his teammates and leaving no room for ONIC to establish control. With ONIC unable to find safe ground, TLPH comfortably closed out Game 1 with a decisive win.
Game 2
The second game started as a much closer affair, with both teams fiercely contesting objectives and map control. ONIC PH seemed to be keeping pace—until Alston “Sanji” Pabico turned the tide. His galaxy-brain diversion play with Lou Yi caught ONIC completely off guard, dismantling their setup and swinging momentum heavily in TLPH’s favor. With ONIC left scrambling, TLPH seized the opportunity to end the game and complete the sweep.
With this victory, Team Liquid PH continues their dominant run, proving they have what it takes to challenge the best. Meanwhile, ONIC PH is left to regroup as they look to bounce back from this stunning defeat.
