Team Liquid PH (TLPH) continued their dominant run in MPL PH Season 15 Week 6 Day 3 with a 2-0 sweep over Smart Omega (OMG). As TLPH charges toward an upper bracket placement, Smart Omega finds themselves in a tight race to earn enough points for playoff contention.
Game 1
TLPH came out swinging in Game 1, establishing total control with 13 kills at just the 10-minute mark, while OMG could only manage three. Smart Omega struggled to mount any counterplay as the pressure mounted. TLPH secured a 10-minute Lord and wasted no time closing out the game in under 12 minutes, showcasing ruthless efficiency.
Game 2
Smart Omega looked more promising in the early game of Game 2, even leading with an 8-5 kill count at the 10-minute mark and winning key objective skirmishes.
However, their momentum was short-lived. TLPH adapted and shifted the pace in the late game with strategic lane pressure, forcing OMG into a defensive position. At the 20-minute mark, with their base exposed, OMG was forced to play passively. TLPH capitalized, securing an uncontested Lord and charging down the lanes to seal the series sweep.
With this win, TLPH strengthens their chances for an upper bracket finish, while Smart Omega’s playoff dreams grow more uncertain with each loss.
