In MPL PH Season 15 Week 7 Day 3, AP Bren (APBR) faced another towering challenge against ONIC PH (ONIC). AP Bren was fighting for their tournament life, desperately needing a win to stay in the playoff race. Meanwhile, ONIC sought to solidify their spot in the upper bracket. The match ended with the mighty ONIC winning with a sweep, officially eliminating APBR from the playoff race.
Game 1
ONIC made a thunderous statement right from the start. Showcasing why they are the reigning M6 World Champions, ONIC completely outclassed AP Bren.
The match was heavily one-sided, with AP Bren struggling to find any breathing room.
ONIC snowballed effortlessly and closed out Game 1 in just around 12 minutes.
Game 2
The second game turned into a test of endurance, as both teams played cautiously in the early stages.
However, ONIC gradually tightened their grip, steamrolling into the mid-game.
Despite ONIC building a commanding 17-6 kill lead, AP Bren showed impressive resilience, managing to delay the inevitable for a while.
Still, the gap was simply too wide — ONIC secured the sweep and clinched the series 2-0.
With this loss, AP Bren is officially eliminated from playoff contention, ending their MPL PH Season 15 journey.
