While the match held no bearing for Twisted Minds PH, ONIC PH entered with everything on the line — a final push for the upper bracket slot in the MPL PH Season 15 playoffs. With their playoff fate hanging in the balance, ONIC PH delivered a disciplined and calculated performance to close the regular season strong.
Game 1
ONIC PH maintained a solid lead across the early to mid game, taking control of objectives and lane pressure. However, Twisted Minds PH managed to hold their ground, with key plays that slowed ONIC’s momentum. During a pivotal 13-minute Lord dance, ONIC secured the objective — but TWIS struck back with a triple kill from Outplayed’s Granger, shifting the tempo momentarily.
Despite the setback, ONIC still maintained control of the map, and with only TWIS’s inner turrets left standing, they pressed forward. A crucial pickoff on Escalera’s Floryn, TWIS’ core sustain, shattered their defensive formation and allowed ONIC to march straight to victory.
Game 2
TWIS Sensui opted for Akai in the jungle to counter ONIC’s mobile lineup — a move that showed promise in the early stages. The crowd control from Akai’s Ultimate gave TWIS the upper hand in some skirmishes, but once the ability was on cooldown, they struggled to hold their ground.
Twisted Minds then attempted a risky strategy, sending Jeymz’s Masha for a backdoor push while the rest attempted to secure Lord. But ONIC’s KingKong foiled the plan with a clutch Lord steal, punishing TWIS’s overextension. With the Lord under their control, ONIC closed out the series with a clean push, securing a crucial 2-0 sweep.
With this win, ONIC PH officially locks in their spot in the upper bracket — setting themselves up for a better path in the MPL PH Season 15 playoffs.
