Ch4knu’s appearance after 4 years of falling being behind the scene marked a new step for him as he step up as the TNC’s Roamer who is now fighting against his old team, the Smart Omega. Needless to say, the new Barangay did not hesitate to give him the warmest welcome with a nail-biting 2-1 series.
Game 1
The Phoenix’s EXP laner owned the first kill as 3Mar slammed Jeymz’s Lapu-Lapu hard on the first turtle fight. However his first blood glory bit him back as OMG set up a play for him to score their first kill. The Phoenix Army fumbles despite an early lead as OMG’s Jungler, Raizen. snowballed with an outstanding KDA of 7/0/4 with his Fanny. The team’s victory was secured as Jeymz’s Lapu Lapu and Hadji’s Pharsa kept on zoning out the Phoenix Army while dealing a massive AoE damage, preventing them from making any signifant play.
Game 2
The Flames of the Phoenix didn’t stop on burning bright as the Phoenix Army tied the series. Zaida’s Hayabusa got a crucial kill at OMG’s Mage and Gold Laner as he uses his clone to easily exterminated both of them in the map during the Lord Fight. 3Mar got back on his groove playing Lapu-Lapu with 0 deaths while Ch4knu’s strategy to stroll all over the enemy territory using Baxia got them a very wide sight of the OMG’s whereabouts. Having a marksman Mid Laner along with an attack speed monster Moskov is such a nasty move to easily control the map with a lot of push and free hits.
Game 3
The early stages of Game 3 was set to land on the hands of OMG as they kept on widening their lead and maintaining a steady wave clear and push from all of the lanes. Their early game advantage easily laid the Phoenix Army on rest. It felt like a one sided match and OMG eventually scored their first series win of the season.
