TNC Pro Team showcased their resilience and tactical prowess against Smart Omega in a dominant 2-0 sweep in the Week 2 Day 2 of MPL PH Season 15. With Yawi leading the charge and Zaida securing key objectives, TNC controlled the tempo throughout the series. Despite Smart Omega’s attempts to turn the tide, TNC’s calculated aggression and superior map control proved too much to handle.
Game 1
TNC outlasted OMG in a grueling battle of endurance, with their Roamer, Yawi, making a significant impact using his Selena pick. His precise setups and map presence played a crucial role in securing a strong opening victory for TNC.
Game 2
Game 2 was a tug-of-war between both teams, with each side taking turns securing objectives in the early game. Both played cautiously, avoiding unnecessary engagements and keeping skirmishes to a minimum.
At the 10-minute mark, TNC gained a slight edge with a three-kill lead. Capitalizing on this momentum, Zaida secured the first Lord, granting TNC greater map control.
Smart Omega struggled to break TNC’s defenses, unable to take down a single turret until the 14-minute mark when JOWM finally managed to claim the top outer turret. However, TNC remained in control, securing the second Lord and pushing forward for a decisive final assault. With a well-executed engage from Yawi, TNC successfully breached Smart Omega’s base, closing the series with a clean 2-0 sweep.
