Smart Omega looked to regain their footing in MPL PH Season 15, bringing back star roamer Ch4knu after weeks of absence. However, their hopes for a turnaround were dashed as TNC Pro Team delivered a commanding sweep.
Game 1
Smart Omega surprised fans with an unconventional Baxia Roam pick for Ch4knu. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to match the speed and utility brought by TNC’s Yawi on Mathilda and Bennyqt’s unstoppable Gold Lane Harith. OMG struggled to find their rhythm and fell behind quickly, with the game ending in a lopsided 2–14 kill score in favor of TNC.
Game 2
Game 2 followed a similar narrative. TNC continued to dominate the map, this time with Yawi locking in a solid Chou performance. Omega found themselves reacting rather than engaging, unable to gain momentum. TNC took full control and confidently closed the match with a clean 2–0 series sweep.
