With a playoff ticket on the line, Team Liquid PH entered the match determined to win in the MPL PH Season 15 Week 5 Day 3. However, Twisted Minds PH put up a strong fight, forcing TLPH to claw their way back for a hard-fought reverse sweep.
Game 1
In a surprising “twist,” TWIS dominated early, led by Escalera’s clinical Guinevere engages. Despite TLPH securing meta picks like Oheb’s Granger and KarlTzy’s Suyou, they couldn’t reach their late-game powerspike. TWIS secured a convincing Game 1 win.
Game 2
With their playoff hopes at stake, TLPH responded with a Faramis pick for Sanji and a Jawhead for Jaypee. Their sustain advantage, powered by Faramis’ Cult Altar, allowed them to extend fights and wear down TWIS. TLPH took Game 2, forcing a decisive final match.
Game 3
TWIS surprised with a Nana pick for Hadjizy, but TLPH had other plans. They aggressively camped Gold Lane, shutting down Outplayed early with three deaths in just two minutes, denying him crucial resources. Unable to recover, TWIS fell as TLPH secured the reverse sweep and locked in their playoff spot.
