In MPL PH Season 15 Week 7 Day 3, Aurora Gaming (RORA) looked to strengthen their hold on an upper bracket slot, while TNC Pro Team focused on polishing their roster ahead of the playoffs. What followed was a tense three-game series.
Game 1
Both teams played a cautious early game, but RORA steadily gained momentum. At the 10-minute mark, RORA wiped out TNC in a dominant team fight, punching a hole in the top lane. Although an attempted finish fell short due to lack of minions, RORA’s control only grew stronger. Marching with a Lord two minutes later, RORA crushed TNC’s defenses. Despite a desperate last stand from TNC, RORA took Game 1 convincingly.
Game 2
TNC responded with an aggressive early game, building a commanding 14-1 kill lead by the 10-minute mark and securing the Lord. Their pressure didn’t stop, tearing down turrets and forcing RORA onto the defensive.
RORA, however, showed signs of life with clever diversion plays — split pushing both top and bottom lanes to stretch TNC thin. A crucial Lord fight at 17 minutes went to TNC, but cracks were showing.
Despite RORA shattering base turrets and taking a Lord at the 21-minute mark, TNC made a bold decision: ignoring the Lord, they went all-in, charged down the midlane, and ended the game — forcing a Game 3.
Game 3
TNC started strong again, but RORA stayed composed, equalizing the game by the 8-minute mark. With a Lord secured at 12 minutes, RORA snowballed hard — pushing into TNC’s inner turrets. A second Lord tightened the noose, forcing TNC into full defense.
Finally, with a third Lord under their control, RORA overwhelmed TNC’s base and closed the series with a 2-1 victory.
Aurora Gaming continues their march toward an upper bracket playoff slot, while TNC shows promising growth ahead of the postseason.
