In a clash between a surging Team Falcons PH and an already-eliminated AP Bren, few expected an upset. But AP Bren, fresh from spoiling Smart Omega’s playoff hopes, entered the matchup with nothing to lose and everything to prove. What followed was a thrilling three-game series during Week 8 of MPL PH Season 15.
Game 1
AP Bren did their best to match the early game tempo of Team Falcons PH. They kept up initially, trading objectives and kills, but it wasn’t enough to stop the onslaught. FLCN eventually built a resource advantage, widened the gap through well-coordinated fights, and snowballed their way to a clean finish to take Game 1.
Game 2
Game 2 told a different story. AP Bren brought the heat with aggressive plays and relentless pressure during team fights and objective contests. Despite FLCN still holding a slight lead, APBR was constantly lurking for a mistake — and they found it. With a well-timed punish, AP Bren turned the tables and pushed straight into the base to take the win and force a decisive Game 3.
Game 3
Riding on the momentum from their previous win, AP Bren didn’t let up. They outmaneuvered FLCN throughout the match, making smart plays and catching their opponents off-guard. In a stunning turn of events, AP Bren closed the series with a reverse sweep — their second upset in a row.
This result doesn’t change AP Bren’s standings, but it certainly cements their late-season run as one of the most chaotic and entertaining storylines in MPL PH Season 15.
