Smart Omega (OMG) came into this match still in the running for the final MPL PH Season 15 playoff spot, while AP Bren (APBR) had already been eliminated. However, APBR was determined to play spoiler — and they did just that, crushing OMG’s hopes in a surprising 2-1 victory.
Game 1
Smart Omega dominated the opening game with clean rotations and superior map control. AP Bren struggled to find any momentum, and despite some valiant attempts, OMG took Game 1 with confidence.
Game 2
OMG once again started strong, leading throughout the early to mid game. However, a critical late-game misstep during a team fight gave AP Bren the opening they needed. Seizing the opportunity, APBR took control, flipped the game, and forced a decider.
Game 3
OMG held a commanding lead in the early game with an 8-1 score by the 10-minute mark. But AP Bren didn’t back down. They won a crucial Lord fight in the final moments, and despite not having the Lord by their side, their minion waves had already begun tearing through OMG’s base.
With their Nexus exposed, AP Bren capitalized and ended the game via a minion push, taking the series 2-1.
With this outcome, Twisted Minds PH officially clinch the final playoff slot. Smart Omega joins AP Bren among the eliminated teams for MPL PH Season 15.
