It was a clash of titans as ONIC PH and Team Liquid PH (TLPH) battled for upper bracket positioning in MPL PH Season 15 Week 7 Day 2. With Aurora Gaming also in the mix, every win counts — and ONIC made sure to grab this one.
Game 1
The first game was a tug-of-war, with both teams trading kills and turret objectives. Every move was answered immediately by the other side, creating a tense back-and-forth. ONIC finally gained an advantage after securing the 10-minute Lord, giving them critical map control. At the 12-minute mark, a devastating team fight wiped out TLPH’s squad — leaving only OHEB alive to defend. ONIC capitalized on the opportunity and marched straight to the base to secure Game 1.
Game 2
Team Liquid PH bounced back hard, rallying in Game 2 with a more calculated and aggressive approach. With a clean execution, TLPH forced a deciding Game 3.
Game 3
In the final match, TLPH started strong with a successful diversion play, catching ONIC off guard. However, overconfidence cost them. Their second attempt at a diversion with Sanji’s Lou Yi backfired badly, as ONIC punished them with a four-man wipe. Seizing the moment, ONIC charged down the middle and ended the game, claiming the 2-1 series victory.
ONIC PH strengthens their bid for an upper bracket spot, while TLPH faces more pressure heading into the final week.
