In MPL PH Season 15 Week 7 Day 1, Team Falcons PH (FLCN) made a strategic move by fielding Pandora as their roamer, replacing mainstay Owgwen. TNC Pro Team, fresh from securing their playoff slot, looked to keep their momentum rolling. But after a grueling three-game series, it was FLCN who came out on top with a 2-1 victory.
Game 1
TNC started strong, dominating early map control and objectives while keeping FLCN on their toes. Despite being behind in kills (6-9), FLCN maintained a gold advantage and slowly turned the tide by taking down turrets. By the 11-minute mark, FLCN’s map dominance was evident—they still had all their turrets while TNC was down to their inners. With Yawi’s pinpoint Chou kicks and Lord JM’s game-changing Badang wall stuns, FLCN closed out Game 1 convincingly.
Game 2
The second game was a strategic slow burn. Both teams played cautiously, prioritizing objectives over team fights. FLCN secured a 9-minute Lord and looked to snowball, but TNC kept their cool. In the 13-minute mark, TNC won a massive team fight, taking down four FLCN members and capitalizing with a Lord take. However, in a dramatic turn, FLCN regrouped and won the final clash, storming TNC’s base to force a Game 3.
Game 3
The decider was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading blows. Lord JM’s Arlott plays didn’t find much success, as FLCN consistently came out on top in key team fights. Despite TNC’s best efforts to claw back, FLCN proved to be the more composed squad, closing out the final game and sealing the series win.
Team Falcons PH’s victory boosts their standings and sends a message that they’re not done fighting just yet.
