Twisted Minds (TWIS) introduced fresh faces and new strategies in their matchup against Aurora Gaming (RORA) during Week 5 Day 1 of MPL PH Season 15. This match marked two debuts — Jamal stepping in as Gold Laner for TWIS and the first-ever appearance of the new hero, Kalea, piloted by RORA’s Renejay.
Game 1
TWIS started strong in Game 1, with MPtheKing leading the charge through early ganks and aggressive pickoffs, putting Aurora Gaming on the backfoot. However, the tide shifted in the mid to late game. RORA’s Domengkite showcased his Granger mastery, taking over the match and dismantling TWIS’ momentum. RORA closed out Game 1 in convincing fashion, also making history with the first Kalea pick in MPL PH.
Game 2
With Kalea banned in Game 2, RORA adjusted seamlessly. Domengkite once again locked in Granger and spearheaded the team’s relentless assault. TWIS struggled to find footing throughout the match, unable to stop RORA’s tempo. Aurora Gaming maintained complete control and closed the series with a clean 2-0 sweep.
